Piemonte Wine Tours offers guided Italian Wine Tastings throughout the year. Italian wines are much more than just the wines from Piemonte. As the world’s largest wine producer, Italy has a great range of exciting wines. Piemonte Wine Tours invites you on a journey through this wonderland of lovely wines.
With our wine tasting “Giro d’Italia” you will have the opportunity to taste the best examples of regions and varietal from all over Italy. Our Wine Tasting “Giro d’Italia” gives you the opportunity to taste wines from all over Italy.
We have a broad selection of wines from which we choose at every tasting. Usually there are 8 different wines at each tasting. There might be some acquaintances as well as some surprises. All wines will be from diffrent top producers. Each wine will help you learn more and appreciate Italian wines while refining and defining your taste.
Let us know what special interest you have, and we’ll do our best to come up with something which will accommodate you and the other attendees as well. If you want to fully customize your tasting, we can also do it. Just let us know when booking. We can even arrange special tastings at different dates and times with a wine list fully catered to your wishes.

Are you to old and rare wines? Do you want to make your visit to Piemonte to an extraordinary experience, then you should attend one of our wine dinners with old and rare wines.
Every Friday during the period from September to mid November 2009, are we organizing a Gourmetdinner with old and rare wines mainly from Piemonte.
From time to time, are we offered small gatherings of old and rare wines from collectors, restaurants, winemakers and wineshops. This is an experience we would like to share with other winelovers, who also appreciate the old treasures of Piemonte. We arrange wine dinners where you can taste these special wines in combination with good Italian food. All the old wines are mainly based on Nebbiolo.
All our dinners are held at top restaurants in the Langhe area – several of them have received Michelin stars.
Many of these wines are only available in very small quantities and it is therefore exclusive wine dinners. Each wine dinner would be limited to max 10 participants. The price for each dinner will depend on the menu and the wines that we are going to taste.
If you are a group of 6-8 persons, we can make a special wine dinner for you with old and rare wines. Please be aware that such a dinner requires preparation. If you are interested in a specific day it is recommended to book well in advance.

No doubt that Barolo is one of the great wines from Piemonte. It is wellknown all over the world for bi an elegant and austere, complex and important noble wine.
It is produced from the Nebbiolo vineyards that are cultivated in a limited area, including some parts or the whole hill regions of Barolo, La Morra, Cherasco, Verduno, Roddi, Grinzane Cavour, Diani d’Alba, Serralunga, Monforte d’Alba, Castiglione Faletto and Novello. It is aged for three years (two of which in wooden barrels) in order to reach a perfect balance.
The colour is red, tending to garnet and orange red. The Barolo has an intense nose, with hints reminding of candy liquorice and liquorice roots, dried mushrooms, tobacco, mint and the spicy aroma of pepper. The palate is full, astringent and warm, the tannins are well balanced with sourness, which prolongs its flavour.
It is an important wine, which needs a lot of care in order to develop all its beauty and richness. It goes well with robust dishes; diffrent kinds of meat, seasoned cheese, fried mushrooms or it can be be enjoyed at any time, as a corroborant and a solace.
