Wine Dinners

General Condition

All of our dinners feature a casual atmosphere.  We are all together to enjoy a good meal accompanied by good wine. We emphasize that it is a time to just relax and enjoy yourselves comfortably.

In order to achieve the best from the wines, the bottles are opened 3 hours before dinner begins.  If the bottle is not perfect, we will replace it with another bottle of equal quality.

At all our dinners we calculate ten persons per bottle. This will ensure that everybody gets a good tasting experience from each wine. The wines will be commented on during the dinner by experts and guests are invited to participate.

The menu and the wines at every dinner will be determined by both the chef and sommelier of the particular restaurant to ensure that food and wine suit each other.

The pricing for each dinner will depend on the particular wines selected.

The name of the restaurant will either be mentioned on this site or stated when your reservation is confirmed. The dinners will usually take place at the highest ranked restaurants in the Langhe area.

Dinner starts promptly at 20:00 PM. Please respect the time and the other guests – be on time. The dress code is casual but still proper.

Piemonte Wine Tours are able to arrange private Custom Wine Dinners.  These require a minimum of 8 persons to reserve. You can choose the theme for these dinners, and they can be anything from older wines to “you name it”. For further information, please contact Piemonte Wine Tours.

Registration

Your reservation, made through our website, will be confirmed by email. Together with the confirmation we will forward an invoice for 50% of the price for the dinner. The remaining 50% must be received at least 10 days before the date of the Wine Dinner.

If you must cancel, and do so more than 15 days before the scheduled dinner, your 50% deposit will be returned to you. If you cancel 10-15 days before the dinner, the 50% deposit will NOT be returned to you. If you cancel less than 10 days before the dinner the deposit will not be refunded, and you will be charged for the remaining 50 % if not already paid.

If the dinner must be cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances that could not be prevented, the full amount paid will be refunded.

Payment

To make a reservation for one of our wine dinners, you have to fill out a reservation form.

When you receive the confirmation for the chosen dinner, you will also receive an invoice for a deposit in the amount of 50% of the dinner price.  We will accept payment either by PayPal or Bank Transfer. The remaining 50% must be paid a minimum of 10 days before the dinner date. The payment covers the dinner and the wines.
